Pancit Recipe Best Filipino Food



In Filipino cuisine, Pancit is noodles. Noodles were introduced into the Philippines early on by Chinese Filipino settlers in the archipelago, and over the centuries have been fully adopted into local cuisine, of which there are now numerous variants and types. This is the common food where every people loved to eat especially snack time with the combination of a bread. Pancit is very popular in every place in the Philippines. And there are so many variations depends on the Place in the Philippines.

Pancit Recipe
  • 2 lbs. uncooked noodles – this version used a combination of Pancit and vermicelli
  • 4 cups sliced mixed veggies: cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, and green onions
  • 1 lb. lean pork, cut into very small pieces
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 pork bouillon cube
  • 6 cups water
Instructions

  1. In a large, deep skillet (or casserole), heat oil over medium heat. Cook pork until it turns slightly brown.
  2. Stir in garlic and onions. Sauté for a few minutes until tomatoes are wilted.
  3. Add the mixed veggies then mix it with the pork, garlic, and onions.
  4. 6 Pour in water, add pork bouillon cube and tablespoon soy sauce, and bring to a boil.
  5. Lower the heat and simmer covered over low heat until vegetables are tender. Be sure not to overcook it. Then add the Uncooked Noodles then mixed it carefully.
  6. Immediately remove from heat. Transfer to a serving dish.
