Tortang Okra is also known Okra Omelet s a very simple viand that you can eat in breakfast in a very short period time.  A simple vegetable omelet dish offers a healthy meal made from the plant okra. We all know that okra is one of the vegetables provides a good source of nutrients needed in our body can help to prevent diseases and might cure as well. Okra plant can only be found in a cultivated tropical, subtropical and warm temperature atmosphere in the region as well as in countries around the world.
Okra Omelet can be used as another way for those who don't eat this vegetable. It can help also for your young kids who don't want to eat this nutritious vegetable.

Ingredients for Tortang Okra (Okra Omelet)
  • 10 pcs okra, sliced
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 2 medium onions, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup flour
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • cooking oil, for frying
Procedure:
  1. First, wash carefully the Okra before slicing it.
  2. Mince the onions and garlic into tiny size to be able to eat without even noticing it while eating.
  3. Beat an egg to a mixing bowl and put the sliced okra as well as the onions and garlic. Mix it well.
  4. Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Slowly add some of the mixtures and fry until both sides are golden brown (Repeat until all the mixture is consumed).
  6. Serve and enjoy!
